The
brainchild of Derek Turner, Tumbleweed Recording
Studio was set up in 1996 to cater to the demand
from musicians in Dundalk for a professional
recording studio locally. While the aim of the
studio from the outset was to provide an affordable

recording
facility for local bands and solo artists, Tumbleweed
has also gone on to work with international artists
and producers such as Brianna Corrigan (The Beautiful
South) and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds producer Matt
Crosbie..

In
1998 Tumbleweed Studios recruited Jason Varley
as a second engineer to help carry the workload.
Shortly after Derek branched out into promotion
and management and Jason took over as the main
engineer. In the years that followed the studio

At
Tumbleweed studios, we at all times strive to produce
the highest quality of work possible. We realise that
it's your album, your career, your life, not just
our wages.
